As a SEO specialist, I get a lot of questions asked about link building and, more importantly, how to build them … OK OK, I don’t get any questions like. However, on this page you will find a ton of resources and guides on how to build backlinks yourself. I plan on releasing full guides, no strings attached, in form of blog posts.
Majority of these links will be so called “Foundational” backlinks. Meaning, they will not get you rankings but they are essential for building a robust backlinks profile for your site. It will involve quite a bit of time of your own as you would need to get on each site and do some manual work yourself, or just outsource it. The resource page is being updated all the time and the data should be as up to date as possible but due to number of resources, some resources might be out of date.

Profile links
Now this type of link building is very easy. You need to load up a site, sign up, usually verify your email and then update your profile. A lot of these sites are actually nofollow but it’s OK. I want to demistify nofollow backlinks – look, to make your backlinks profile, you need to have nofollow backlinks in your arsenal too. There are tons of websites that will allow you to have a dofollow backlink but just don’t filter through the list and add dofollow-only backlinks. This will certainly make your profile look unnatural which will cause a lot of trouble later.
